C-HanDS: a handshake detection system

C-HanDS is a novel handshake detection system, based on wireless body sensor networks consisting of a resource-constrained wrist-wearable sensor node and a more capable base station. The developed system is based on the C-SPINE framework (an extension of the SPINE 1.3 framework to support Collaborative BSNs) and uses an effective collaboration technique among body sensor networks of the handshaking persons which minimizes errors associated with the application of in-node classification algorithms so improving the overall recognition accuracy in terms of the number of false positives and false negatives.
